Join the MN Women's Woodland Network and the St. Croix River Association for a Women of the Woods on the Water Paddle along the wild and scenic St. Croix River on Saturday June 30! Enjoy a beautiful paddle through the North Woods and learn about the St. Croix watershed's northern forests and wildlife from women from the MN DNR and MN Women's Woodland Network. Come enjoy the nature on the wild Upper St. Croix and connect with other like-minded women of the woods! 

Meeting Place: Wild River Outfitters in Grantsburg, WI
Distance: 12 mile paddle (Nelson's Landing to Highway 70)
Difficulty Level: Moderate; there are some minor rapids during the first half of the journey but no previous paddling experience necessary.
Age: 18 and above
Kayaks, paddles & PFDs are provided. Please bring snacks/lunch to enjoy on the river.
