Recording of Family Forest Carbon Webinar
On April 12, 2023 MNWWN worked with American Forest Foundation to help moderate a webinar on their Family Forest Carbon Program (FFCP). The webinar provided the basics of the carbon cycle, explored the carbon marketplace, illustrated the need for carbon programs like FFCP, and then dived into the specifics of the program and how it can benefit private landowners.

What Every Minnesotan Should Know about Tick-borne Diseases
We partnered with the Minnesota State Horticultural Society and the Tri Lakes Sportsmen's Club to present this webinar to more than 200 people! Presenter Dr. Maloney discusses the various aspects of Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses, and provides information on where you might encounter ticks, how to reduce the risk of getting bitten, the potential symptoms and signs of infection, and the diagnosis and treatment. In the webinar, Dr. Maloney also takes a brief look at other tick-borne illnesses and how to avoid them.
